Last updated: 5 May 2026

1. Introduction

Daxonet Group Sdn Bhd ("Daxonet", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect personal information in compliance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2025 and applicable data-protection laws.

By using daxonet.com, submitting any form on our site, contacting us by email / phone / WhatsApp, or engaging Daxonet for services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you provide directly:

  • Contact information — name, email, phone number, company, job title
  • Business information — industry, approximate revenue, operational pain points, project requirements (when submitted via our quote form)
  • Communication content — emails, WhatsApp messages, call notes related to your enquiry or engagement
  • Engagement information — for active customers, project documents, system configurations, support tickets

We also collect technical information automatically:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referrer URL
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and provide quotes / proposals
  • Deliver contracted services (implementation, support, managed services)
  • Send you relevant updates about Daxonet products and services (only with your double opt-in consent)
  • Improve our website and services
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. How We Share Information

Daxonet does not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only:

  • With Daxonet employees, contractors, and approved subcontractors directly involved in serving you
  • With software vendors (Microsoft, AutoCount, Arcstone, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) only as required to deliver services you have engaged us for
  • With government authorities when legally compelled

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, or as required by law (Malaysian tax law typically requires 7-year retention of accounting records). Information from prospects who do not become customers is retained for up to 24 months and then deleted, unless you request deletion sooner.

6. Your Rights Under PDPA 2025

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of personal information we hold about you
  • Correct — ask us to update inaccurate information
  • Withdraw consent — opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • Delete — request deletion of personal information (subject to legal retention obligations)
  • Restrict processing — limit how we use your information

To exercise any of these rights, email sales@daxonet.com or write to the address below. We respond within 21 calendar days.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encrypted storage, role-based access controls, regular security reviews, and PDPA-compliant data handling procedures.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cross-Border Transfer

Daxonet may use cloud services (Microsoft Azure, AWS) that store data outside Malaysia. Where this happens, we ensure adequate protection through contractual safeguards consistent with PDPA 2025 cross-border transfer requirements.

We send marketing emails only to recipients who have double opted in (confirmed subscription via email). Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You may also unsubscribe by emailing sales@daxonet.com.
